Cór Bród is a new LGBTQIA+ and allies community choir based in Galway, bringing together singers from across the region to create exceptional choral music in an environment built on welcome, respect, and artistic ambition.
Whether you have years of choral experience or have never sung in a group before, you are welcome here. The choir is a warm, affirming, and creative environment where every voice matters.

Cór Bród is a name with two hearts. Cór, the Irish word for choir. Bród, the Irish word for pride. Together they say exactly who we are: the richness of Ireland's choral tradition, carried by the strength, diversity and resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community. We believe singing can do more than make music. It builds confidence, it builds belonging, and somewhere between the harmonies you will find friendships that span generations and every kind of experience.
Cór Bród is open to singers of every background. Whether you are a seasoned chorister or have never sung in a group before, there is a place for you here. Under the direction of our founder, conductor and vocal coach Oran Tobin, you will be supported to build healthy vocal technique, real musicianship and growing confidence, and to sing as one. Every voice gets stronger, and so does the choir. Individual growth and collective excellence, wrapped up in the same sound.

Rob Partridge and Oran Tobin are starting a brand new LGBTQIA+ choir in Galway, and they want you to come and sing with them. Cór Bród, Irish for choir and pride put together, welcomes singers of every ability, no auditions, no experience needed, and plenty of fun along the way.
